Krasnodar Region delegation led by Governor Kondratyev attends Belarus-Russia Forum of Regions

Veniamin Kondratyev and Yuri Karaev, Chairman of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee, visited the stands of both regions.

"Thanks to the policies of the Presidents of Russia and Belarus, our countries are making great strides in import substitution, actively developing their own manufacturing facilities and making many goods more affordable and of higher quality. Today, the exhibition showcases a wide variety of products from regions across both countries,» said Veniamin Kondratyev.

At the Krasnodar Region stand, Veniamin Kondratyev and Yuri Karaev viewed products from local manufacturers, including those from Kuban-Vino, the region's largest winery. In 2025, the winery produced over 90 million bottles of still and sparkling wines, supplying 89 regions across Russia and 7 countries worldwide. Also represented was Yuzhnaya, an agricultural firm growing almost 30% of the region's grapes and around 60% of its young vines.

Veniamin Kondratyev noted that the development of winemaking in the region is also boosting tourism. Since 2020, the number of rural tourism destinations has more than doubled to over 100, including 35 wineries open to visitors, with annual tourist numbers reaching around 1 million.

The Krasnodar Region stand also features products from Kaloriya, one of the region's largest dairy enterprises, based in the Kanevskoy District. The company produces over 20 varieties of cheese from local milk, supplying 11 regions of Russia as well as Kazakhstan and Belarus. Also featured is Kraft Foods Group, based in the Krasnoarmeysky District, which produces premium dry-cured meat delicacies and pâtés from high-quality local ingredients. Having entered the Belarusian market in 2024, the company now supplies over 3 tonnes of goods annually.

The stands of the Grodno Region showcase meat, dairy, and fish products, cheeses, juices, baby food, pasta, glassware, and furniture. According to Yuri Karaev, 70% of exports are destined for Russia, and negotiations are currently under way on supplying cabinet furniture and mattresses to hotels in Gelendzhik. Veniamin Kondratyev noted that nearly 190 hotels are currently under construction in the Krasnodar Region, all to be fitted with high-quality furniture. Quality is, as always, of paramount importance.

Deputy Governor Alexander Ruppel also took part in the tour of the exhibition.

Following the forum, Veniamin Kondratyev noted that the positive trend in trade turnover between the Krasnodar Region and Belarus is continuing, a strong indicator of deepening trade and economic ties.
