Krasnodar Region's roadside service network exceeds 5,500 facilities

Deputy Governor Alexander Ruppel attended a meeting aimed at improving the quality of services provided by roadside service facilities.

The region's network of roadside service facilities comprises more than 5,500 outlets. As the sector develops, the focus is shifting to multi-purpose complexes.

In recent years, the format of services for tourists has changed significantly. Individual cafés, shops, and petrol stations are giving way to complexes designed to meet holidaymakers' needs as fully as possible. The region aims to increase the number of such complexes because travellers' comfort is its absolute priority.

These complexes offer tourists a wide range of services all in one place, saving them time. Currently, there are ten such complexes operating in the region and around a hundred across Russia as a whole.

The Krasnodar Region is known for its roadside markets selling high-quality local products. This season, around 210 such markets are set to open, all designed in a uniform style.

«The development of roadside services in the Krasnodar Region must be guided by two key principles: legality and aesthetics,» said Alexander Ruppel.
